TRÈS BN Boron Nitride powders are ideal for emulsion, powder, lipstick, pencil, skin care and after-bath formulations. They are excellent alternatives to standard materials such as talc, mica, and bismuthoxychloride and provide slip, payoff, adherence and soft feel. They are excellent additives for powder pressing operations. The lubricating nature of flat hexagonal platelets aids in compaction, transfer and removal of pressed powders. The soft, slippery feel of TRÈS BN powders can improve the way transfer resistant products feel when applied, offering the consumer long wearing cosmetics that also feel soft and natural.
