Combat® Boron Nitride Solids, Grade AX05 setters and plates offer some unique properties for this industry. These products have higher thermal conductivity and lower thermal expansion, allowing faster push rates with no fear of thermal shock. Combat Boron Nitride Solids, Grade AX05 also can permit an additional layer of product to be run through the furnaces, allowing higher production rates. They are extremely strong, able to hold over 50 lbs/ft2 with a 3/8" thickness. Being easily machined, setters can have pockets, indents or other relief machined in very inexpensively.
