Ceramic and Glass Applications
High temperatures and corrosive atmospheres are conditions where Combat® Boron Nitride Solids and Combat® Boron Nitride Coatings are needed most.
Combat® Boron Nitride Solids grades are easily machined with conventional steel tools making them ideal crucibles, support fixtures and setters for sintering materials in inert and vacuum atmospheres. Metal and refractory molds resist wetting by and are protected from molten glasses and slags when Combat® Boron Nitride Coatings are applied to their surfaces.
