Grade AX05 Combat® BN Solids

Grade HP Combat® BN Solids
When higher thermal shock, more spall resistance and lower permanent expansion upon heating is required, Combat® Boron Nitride Solids, Grade HP is a superior solid grade for formulations of <1000°C. Additionally, Grade HP has ten times the moisture resistance of Grade A due to the addition of calcium which combines with boric oxide to form calcium borate. Commonly used for many light metal applications such as Al, Ti, Mg and Zn.
Grade HPL Combat® BN Solids
When higher thermal shock resistance, more spall resistance and lower permanent expansion upon heating is required, Combat® Boron Nitride Solids, Grade HPL is a superior solid grade for applications <1200°C. Additionally, Grade HPL has ten times the moisture resistance of other boron nitride solids due to the reduced level of calcium borate binder. Commonly used for many high temperature electrical applications.
Grade M Combat® BN Solids
Combat® Boron Nitride Solids,Grade M is a truly hydrophobic advanced ceramic. Composed of boron nitride and silica, it is completely resistant to moisture and has a MIL-I-10A grade of L542, a test requiring immersion in water for 48 hours prior to testing at elevated frequencies. Grade M is suitable for the most severe electrical applications. It is an excellent refractory material at temperatures up to 1400°C, and is unparalleled in resistance to thermal shock.
Grade M26 Combat® BN Solids
Combat® Boron Nitride Solid Grade M26 has many of the properties of Grade M. It is an excellent refractory material at temperatures up to 1400°C and is resistant to extreme thermal shock and moisture. It contains more boron nitride than Grade M, giving it higher thermal conductivity properties.
